Carrier statements, matched to the commission you expected.
Part of the acquisition-onboarding engine. Every line on every carrier’s commission statement is matched to a policy in the acquired agency’s book, and what the carrier paid is compared with what that policy should have paid.
Why it breaks after a deal
Direct-bill commission arrives on carrier statements, one layout per carrier. Before the acquisition, the agency’s staff knew which policy each line belonged to. After it, policy numbers, producer codes and carrier codes have to line up with your platform’s, and the statements keep coming in the old agency’s terms.
Lines that do not match get worked by hand, a month at a time, by whoever knows both books.
What it flags
Paid differs from expected
Expected commission is the policy’s premium in the agency’s book times its commission rate. A line outside a small rounding tolerance is flagged with both numbers.
The reason, where it shows
When the statement’s rate differs from the book’s rate, or the carrier paid on a different premium, the flag says which.
Lines with no policy
A statement line for a policy number that is not in the agency’s export: money arriving for business the book does not show.
Totals by statement
For each carrier and period: lines, paid, expected, net variance and how many lines need a person.
Exit-ready numbers
If a buyer asked tomorrow for commission revenue by agency and by producer, reconciled to the carrier statements, how long would it take your team to produce it?
The reconciled lines feed the engine’s cross-agency dashboard, so each acquired agency’s revenue sits beside the rest of the platform. What exit buyers ask for
Where it starts
A paid two-week diagnostic on one recent acquisition, or a de-identified sample: $7,500, credited toward the build if you sign the build within 14 days of the readout. It shows how that agency’s statements reconcile against its book before you commit to anything larger. What the diagnostic includes
