The acquired agency’s export, in your format.

Part of the acquisition-onboarding engine. Clients, policies and producers come out of the acquired agency’s management system or spreadsheets in its own layout, and go into your platform’s standard with every row that cannot import flagged.

How the mapping works

Each export’s column headings are matched to the fields of your standard: client, policy, coverage, dates, premium, commission rate, producer, carrier. A new layout usually needs a few more heading names added, not new code.

The mapping for each source layout is kept, so the next agency on the same system starts from it.

The first 90 days after an acquisition: a data checklist

What it flags

Missing fields

Clients and policies your platform cannot import without a value someone has to supply.

Duplicate clients

Records that look like the same business under two spellings.

Producers

Policies with no producer, and producer codes that are not on your roster.

Carrier codes

The old agency’s code for a carrier, matched to yours where it is known and flagged where it is not, with the premium it covers.

If you already have a conversion vendor

Your conversion vendor moves the book into one system. The engine gives you the view across every agency while that is happening, reconciles the commissions, and hands your team the error report.

It works from the exports your systems already produce and your platform’s own import paths. Your team keeps every decision and does the final import.

Where it starts

A paid two-week diagnostic on one recent acquisition, or a de-identified sample: $7,500, credited toward the build if you sign the build within 14 days of the readout. You get a data map against your standard, an error report, a working conversion prototype and a fixed quote. What the diagnostic includes

The demo converts three fictional agencies in three export layouts. All data in it is fictional. Watch it
